Fantastic service! Our server was an angel. 5 of us stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Huge portions, very reasonable prices. We all finished every bit of our meals. Fish and chips, wraps, poutines and hot turkey sandwiches were all 10/10. Will absolutely be back :)

I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here. Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Owner and staff are extremely friendly and appreciative of your business. Love the retro and vintage atmosphere. Beautiful view of the ocean while you eat. 5 stars.

Salty Girls serves breakfast all day and it was delicious. The service was friendly and fast and the food was hot when served. The home fries were crispy and the link sausage appeared to have been deep fried to perfection. Beautiful view of the water from every table. I highly recommend.

We stopped in for lunch on the way to the fortress, expecting to be impressed after reading other reviews—we weren’t just impressed, we were blown away. The fish was fresh and flaky, the batter was light and crispyc the bacon was perfectly cooked, the handmade hamburger was well-spiced, the poutine had real cheese curds and gravy, and the portions were excellent. We sat on the deck and looked out over the ocean while enjoying every bite. The service was friendly and personable, and the prices are eminently reasonable. We will definitely come here again and would recommend it to anyone!

We have been living in Louisbourg for over a year and decided instead of going to Sydney, we would support local. I heard about Salty Girls and thought let's check it out. The staff are friendly, the service was fast, food was very good, good portions and reasonable price. It's right on the harbor and offers an excellent view. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend. They have eat in and take out. They also have pizza on their menu. Next time we want pizza , we are going to give Salty Girls a try. Support local!

The Salty Girls are Super Sweet. This was our first trip to NS and we had brought our two pups along. Obviously that made finding somewhere to eat trickier, but the ladies here were so friendly and accommodating and let us sit on the lovely patio. They brought water for the pups, the food was good, the local beers were great and the service was excellent and friendly. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you and good luck on your second year!
